I've just migrated from Pipex (because of price) and received my confirmation of activation yesterday, but am unable to connect to the Internet. Sky support took me through some basic router tests, and on the Sky Test it came up with Error 300 - not connected to the internet. She was unable to help further and arranged to escalate the call, and someone should call me back in 3 to 5 days.
If I knew the logon details I might be able to set up my old router to try to connect, but it seems the Sky Netgear router is hard wired for sky. The ADSL status on the router shows no assigned IP address. Could it be a faulty router?
I'd value suggestions for other things I could try while waiting for Sky Support to phone me back.
