Anyhoo..today my noise margin was 7.2ish (at 2pm) and I've plonked a couple more filters along the line, the margin is now 8.1dB..hopefully this will be ok, but I think there's another join in the phone connection to my sky+ box, so I'll have to grab anohter filter or two when I get the chance.

Adding filters will not remove noise picked up by your wiring, unless you filter all the extensions at source, then you can't use them for ADSL.
