Static IP address...yes or no?

[link to this post]

I've looked on various forums, found no answer on the Sky broadband site and have had different answers from different Sky/EasyNot sales people...

Can you get a [censored] static IP on their Max product (or even better, multiple IPs)?

Typical...there was me getting slightly excited.

Phoned them 3 times today and spoke to 3 different advisors...

1st call, 1 static IP.
2nd call, no static IP.
3rd call, 4 IPs!

I can confirm it's "NO". Strangely, few (if any) of the LLU providers give static IPs, and those that do, seem to charge for them. Be will give you one static IP on their 40 a month "Pro" service, and there is an option for 8 IP's for an extra 10 a month.
