which cable?

[link to this post]

Which one of you learned posters is going to be first to tell me which cable on the ADSLNATION site I need to buy to link my sky router to a laptop in the room above?

Or, which one is the same as the yellow one provided by sky?

Cheers in advance

Any CAT 5e cable, e.g. this but you'll have to work out the length for yourself.

You'll probably find EBuyer cheaper than ADSLNation.

Why not link via wireless?

Tony

He only has 802.11b and it refuses to work. Cheaper than a new card. 5m will do it

If wireless is an issue for some reason you could consider homeplugs.

Has the advantage that you have a connection wherever you have an electrical socket.

Not as cheap as running a cable though.

Just a tad sad..a wee bit old...

Cost is the factor. Just gotta run a 5m cable up the wall and thats it.

While ya on. I'm about to go for the mid package. Anything I need to say to sky?
