Hi all,
I trying to move from Freedom 2 Surf to Sky Broadband (onto the Max/16Mb package), and I'm having a loads of problems. The MAC I've been issued by F2S is perfectly valid, even Sky say it's valid when they take the order, but then during the migration process Sky say the MAC is invalid.
After several attempts to get to the bottom of what the problem is myself and trying to get to someone who actually knows what's going on, without success. Iit seems as if it's a case of "Computer says no", no one can tell me what the problem is and how it can be solved. On my last attempt, I was told someone would call me, but instead they cancelled my order. I'm on my third attempt at placing my order since I first attempted last Monday, and if they can't sort it out, I'm going elsewhere.
That's my rant over, but I'm quite curious as to whether anyone has encountered similar problems when migrating to Sky.
Also, if anyone can help in anyway, it would be very much appreciated.
