TalkTalk and 24Mbps

[link to this post]

When are TalkTalk switching on the lights for 24Mbps? Surely there must be some obstacle in the way as Be There have been offering this service for the past year now, do TalkTalk not want to compete with other ISP's? Espcially when it runs on LLU which isnt a issue in backhaul cost at all...

Tripling the sync speed will need more network capacity; something TT does not have enough of at the moment.

I suspect TT will bring in ADSL2+ speeds just before BT does.

You're having a laugh at us BobbyV. TT can't give us 8Mb how will they supply 24Mb.

The service offer will read 'UP TO 24Mb' and they will continue with their crappy below par (intermittent) 8Mb service, unless it is after 4:00 then it will be the abysmal 500Kb (or less) service.

Frustrated by TalkTalk

ha ha ha, no wonder thier broadband is free. They might aswell start charging users for its broadband or add different packages where people decide to pay for broadband that want up to 24mbps conneciton, and leave those that want free broadband on thier current package, at least then there is some sort of quality in ones connection... just a suggestion.
