Talk Talk Exchange Enable dates

I have been having a look at my local exchange Elgin(NSELG), TT initially set an enablement date of the 11th April, but I have just got an e-mail from Samknows telling me the date has changed to the 20th April. How reliable are TT at sticking to these dates? Got a relative looking to get some cheap broadband, so really just looking for an idea of their time keeping.

Asked staff at the local CPW but they seem clueless as to whether the exchange is getting unbundled.

No, surely not.....Someone in a shop is clueless......Blimey!

As for exchange dates; going through the list of recent enablements shows most happened on the revised date, or a little earlier.

Shouldn't be far off. The Tie cables have been installed in this exchange, just waiting on the MSANs to go in now.

It happened to me as well, the dates for my exchange kept changing but someone gave me a link which was more useful and now im LLUed at last.

Thats good! I know somebody who will be very happy. Hopefully the MSAN's aren't delayed any further, other larger exchanges in the area are also getting enabled around this time.

That Web site says the 04/07/09. What a wide range of dates are available. I thought signing up for talk talk when they know the exchange is going LLU you result in a reduced cost IPStream service and then the standard LLU price when the exchange is enabled. Another LLU list says August...

Hmmm that sounds very odd. By my experience of this oddly enough SamKnows seemed to be incorrect and the TalkTalk members forum was right for me. Just keep an eye on the date it says on there, and do a check on the talk talk website a few days after. I did and then it said the essentials package was available. Good luck!
