For those not in the know when you are at the end of your 18 months contract it is worth ringing the "retention team" and asking what is on offer to get you to stay (obviously certain forum members will say nothing could get them to stay)

I have just read this thread over at the TT forum, not a bad deal especially if he had no intention of leaving. wink

Renewed contract today for 12 months & got this instead of 12 months free call plan

3 months free call plan £20.97
3 months free line rental £34.47
a one off credit of £28.44

I'm wondering if changing to the Pro package triggers a new 18months?

Yeah, I was thinking it probably would be, but when i moved onto Pro via a simple PM on the talktalkmembers forums, it wasn't mentioned.

Not too bothered either way.
