TT Static IP

[link to this post]

Evening all,

I've recently moved home. At my old property I had a static IP from TalkTalk, which I need for work.
This wasn't transferred to my new line, and now I'm being told TalkTalk don't offer static IP's.

Am I being fobbed off? Is it worth pestering a bit more? It was only a matter of weeks ago that I had a static IP on my line.
Any info will be appreciated, thanks!

If you had it before, just post on the talktalkmembers forums and they should re-add it for you.

They don't offer them anymore but there is no reason why they wouldn't give you it back if you had it

Already tried that, as pointed out above.

I was hoping for a fountain of wisdom here about maybe a way around their new rule. I'll have to cancel and go elsewhere frown

Give the retention team a ring on 0870 444 1820 (you will have to speak to them anyway to cancel so you can kill two birds with one stone if they dont help you ) explain why you need a static IP address and keep your fingers crossed, its got to be worth a try. wink
