Nildram 8meg problems

[link to this post]

Hey, i have read various posts with similar problems to mine, the closest being:

http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=nildram&Number=2778746&page=&view=&sb=&o=

My trace is looking something like this:

Tracing route to clarity.jolt.co.uk [195.149.21.11]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 0din.mshome.net [192.168.0.1]
2 41 ms 51 ms 32 ms l1.ar20.gs1.dsl.pipex.net [195.112.5.29]
3 31 ms 28 ms 29 ms ge-1-0-3.cr01.gs1.dsl.pipex.net [62.241.161.18]

4 29 ms 30 ms 30 ms ae0-0.cr02.gs1.dsl.pipex.net [62.241.161.210]
5 66 ms 46 ms 59 ms pc9.cr05.tn5.bb.pipex.net [62.72.137.13]
6 32 ms 42 ms 49 ms g1-1-6.er01.tn5.bb.pipex.net [62.72.140.142]
7 73 ms 30 ms 29 ms ge-0-0-0-3801.jolt-gw.cust.pipex.net [212.241.24
1.14]
8 30 ms 30 ms 30 ms clarity.jolt.co.uk [195.149.21.11]

Trace complete.

CS is unplayable, connection is unstable and pings hope from 40 to 90 depending on the time of day, never lower.

Any help would be well appreciated.

Those pings don't look that bad. Any CS:S is perfectly playable even with 100 ping.

That's a consistent 30msec round trip. Not the lowest, but hardly a major problem.
