Re-Training after line card reset

[link to this post]

Quick question. Openreach have reset the line card at my exchange. Since the reset (last weekend), my synch speeds have been a bit up & down. Am I going through the 10 day line training period again?

Thanks,

Kevin.

the 10 day period behaves no differently to any other period, so we can't really say.

Ok. Thanks. I'll keep an eye on the connection rate and see what's going on.

Cheers.

A card reset will not bring about a 'retrain' ..... The 'ten days' thing is somewhat of a falacy, DLM is always 'watching'. The first ten days is when the FTR and what-not are set.

I spoke to my ISP this morning, and they said pretty much the same thing. Looks like my line is restabilising after BT tinkered with the local JB and down at the exchange. My profile droppd as low as 135Kbps apparently, and is now a 750Kbps. I'll see how things are after another couple of days.

Many Thanks.
