You're saying that your ideal setup would be to have a single internal extension run, with all three bits of kit at the extension location?
Whilst it works just fine for most, a few experience major issues putting a PDQ on an xDSL enabled line.
Have you ever looked to see if your router loses sync when the PDQ dials out?
Does your PDQ have an Ethernet port?
To clarify the PDQ is connected via the xDSL line for dial out. I have not been around long enough to know the history of the connection issues.
We can connect the PDQ via Ethernet however with the line issues we have not done this as yet.
The router location is better as the Master Socket is in an area with not a lot of space and the nearest power outlet is opposite the route so the cable would go across the floor.
