Size M (2mb) okay for games?

Thinking about getting cable when I move so that I don't have to have a phone line, I'd be happy enough with the 2mb service since I never get up to that on my current 8mb connection so wouldn't be missing anything. Is it okay for xbox live though? I don't play games on PC, just the console.

Also, if I have it installed then decide that I want the TV package, can this be added easily?

should be no problems its got enough upload speed and thats all that matters for online gaming.

There's an offer on at the moment to get it for �10 a month for the first 12 months which runs out on the 31st. If I signed up before the 31st but arranged the installation for say the 2nd August would it still be part of the offer?

The amounts of data transfered whilst playing games is small. 512/256 is still ok for any game i know about. in fact i would imagine a 256 d/l is probably alright possibly even 128.
