Newsgroups

Just set up my newsgroup client but don't seam to be able to find on the Virgin site how many connections or what ports they allow you to use.

So anyone know or point me in the direction.

Also what are their severs like for retention as at the moment i use tigerusenet and would be nice if i could just use the free virgin server.

Think i wil keep my subscription with tigerusenet but reduce my unlimited account to a cheaper limited one to use as a fill server and use Virgins as the main one as most the stuff i get is only a couple of days old.

They don't seem to have a date on their pages saying when my area will go 20meg, i am on the worcestershire / birmingham border so im guessing it will be covered by birmingham upgrade.
