Appalling upload speed

On 10Mbit here, and the upload speed today has been not more than 40Kb/sec - which is really getting irritating. Any ideas? Download speed is slow 3Mbit at the most.

This has been going on most of the day, so I don't understand how it could suddenly be congestion.

Maybe your area is constantly congested?

have you checked your modem power levels? Sticky on the VM community forum tells you how.
