I value the opinion of people on this forum, so is there any hidden problems with moving to Virgin? I know thier call centers are in Mumbai ... but apart from that ... anything else?

not for the 50Mb service.......50Mb customers have a dedicated 247 uk support no they can call if any issues arise,,

Which ever call centre is taking the call flows at that time get the call it could be mumbai could be the UK. Ive spoke to Mumbai before on that number.

That's good. Most people wait a week or two for that. Depends on availability And to be honest unless you are qualified to hook up your own phone line on their network then it would be necessary.

I have been on all tiers of speed and was one of the early adopters of 50MB. Still on it. Still getting the same service.

This sites tester didn't squeeze more than 17mbps out of my connectin

Go for it.. it really is awesome.

Thinkbroadband's tester has shown consistently poor performance for me, for as long as I can remember. Both no won Virgin, and before when I was on Be*.

what 0800 no are you calling .? .

Same here with the think broadband speed test, when I was on Be I only ever got maximum download speeds of 8mb with a 12 mb connection. On VM 50mb I get any thing between 6mb and 20mb on think broadband but get 46mb+ on other speed tests.

Any chance you could post the number of the 50mb dedicated support team? As a google search didn't seem to locate it.
