No internet connection.

I had Tivo installed yesterday. He had to boost the signal for it to work how he wanted. When he went my internet had gone down, I tried all the usual unplugging etc. I logged in to the superhub and there was no WAN address, so no internet. I left it and it came back on at 4 ish. The same thing happened today in between 2 and 4, the same times.

I know that the tivo runs on Dolcis too perhaps there is a conflict, or there is not enough power in the signal to run both at once. He did say that it will be updating in the evening and I could hear the hard drive writing.

Signals are-3.8-5 DBMV down and 40+42 DBMV up When working.

Any ideas? I was about to call them and it came back on!

The frequencies used for TV and broadband are different so there is no interaction. The power levels you mention look OK - what about the downstream noise levels (RxMER) - the higher the better. I think the minimum is in the order of 30dB (mine are ~ 43dB)

Yes I done all that on the day. It has been fine since, no disconnects in the last 2 days.

Hi, they are all 41 DB. I have had no problems since Friday! Thanks for the information.
