Icing on the cake was I just renewed for 12 months for £32/month with a phone line and a tivo box, saving £16 on what i was paying.

Nothing here. Still stuck on 100/15 at £48 per month

Probably about time I chased for a better price, been with them for a year now, currently paying £43 a month for just broadband.

Phone up and tell them you want to leave. When they ask why, just say you think you are paying too much. Give short answers, and don't say so-and-so is getting it for this. Let them lead, give nothing away.

They tend to real off poor offers over the phone. So, if it's more than a new joiner then tell them it's still too much and get them to put the notice on the account.

Within 14 days someone from Outbound Retention's will phone you up, these have much better deals. You can always cancel the disconnection request if you change your mind. Outbound Retention's might offer up to £20 off per month.

I spoke to the complaints team regarding another issue (refer a friend credit wasn't added), i asked to renew when my complaint was resolved and i was offered £32 per month for 350mb/weekend phone calls/freeview tv
