Re: Joining VM, any newbie tips?

To close this thread, VM arrived yesterday. Saw existing NTL box, and removed plastic cover, and internal isolator. Tested cable coming through wall, and was very happy. Replaced with new style VM plastic housing with the press out connectors. I was surprised instead of the F-series (?) coming out flush with the wall, the jack is now diagonal. The installer tidied up, then screwed new white cable to the connector, and to the Hub 3.0. Took about 30mins for the Hub to update and get working, and then he did some tests. I asked him to check power levels, and he showed me the numbers on his phone screen. I don't (yet?) know what they mean.

All is working today.

Then put a 35mm or bigger standard pattress box in the wall, take the module out and use with a standard euro module socket front.
