Hi

[link to this post]

Hi wonder if anyone can tell me I have been a customer to Plusnet for a long time, never had a issue but like anything the prices are just going up. I'm on Plusnet 145 package full fibre but recently i've been reading into other ISP's and I saw Vodafone and they rang me today about it from Currys or something I accepted the deal which was £25 for 500mb which I thought was cheap. When I rang Plusnet I was told Vodafone do Traffic shaping and my speed wont be great and any issues the calls always go abroad to india etc. I would like to know does Vodafone do this? how is the connection because now i'm thinking if to stay with Plusnet or not or whether they are just trying to keep me as a customer but they will not give me 500MB for £25 they said £32 for that! there is no chance im paying that. Hope someone can tell me, thanks.

Both ISP's are pile them high ,and sell cheap ish merchants like the other big names they all rip people off IMO every year WITH THEIR CPI SCAM Because they ensnare their customer base with gimmicks to begin with

Vodafone are no better or worse than most ISP's including Plusnet.
They have poor customer service lines but how many times do you need CS?
If you need 500Mb and they gave you a good deal you should have no qualms taking it, as for price rises they are the same or similar to the major providers.

I can say Vodafone do have a UK based Provisioning, network design, Tier 3 fault team, You can't speak to these teams as they deal with serious issues.

Many Thanks,

thanks they said I couldn’t but I tried calling EE and it’s cheaper for me to go with EE and get some money off my Mobile contract.
