You're probably better off with EE, to be fair.

The actual connection from Vodafone is absolutely fine, I've never seen any evidence of traffic shaping or throttling. However, the technical support really has to be experienced to be believed. It's like wading through treacle, the agents work to a strict script, and have you going round in pointless circles trying everything to avoid accepting the blindingly obvious.

I always prefer using chat functions if they are available, so there's a record of what's been said, but it still took me over 3 hours of infuriating debate/argument over several chats to get them to replace a quite obviously faulty router before Xmas. It could have been dealt with in 5 minutes. They will literally tell you anything to fob you off, and often have no idea how their own logistics systems work.

It's cheap, but not very cheerful when you have problems.

No experience with Vodafone but I run a mile as soon as I hear mention of Currys.

Been with them since last year and so far so good. No issues with speed, latency etc. The wifi 6E around the house was bonus and I tied it into moving a mobile phone contract. Static IPv4 address address for free if you ask.

Was with Zen previously and don't see any difference in performance etc. Not really needed to speak to support other than via their live chat which seems to work just fine for what I needed.

Or the Vodafone customers are happy and don't spend every waking moment here.

FWIW: I have zero issues with my Vodafone FTTP connection, coupled with a free static IP address I'm a happy bunny.

Pretty sure that traffic shaping isn't a done thing anymore. Plus.net certainly used to do it!
