SIPGATE Customer Service

[link to this post]

I have tried calling their customer service - they stop at 4:00 and also have an hour off in the morning! When I get through, I receive the message ".... all agents are busy ... please call again ..." and then it cuts me off! No option to wait in a queue, just keep calling back.

Problem is related to damaged hardware - but calls can be made to SIPGATE but no one else as there is no credit and the logon/account details have been lost in a major PC/network failure and te paper version has been lost/filed! The end user, needs to get through to them to talk to them and actually find out teh number! Which hopefully they can give from CLI - calling a mobile does not work with NO credit.

Apart from keep trying ... any thoughts on recovery?

I thought Sipgate to Sipgate calls were free so could you try calling another Sipgate number so they can tell you what your's is?

May be there is a kind member out there willing to help out by PMing you their own Sipgate number so your friend can call and get theirs, lets hope someone can.

Can the user remember what email they used to set the account up?

If so then just initiate a password reset like here from the portal login.

You could try sending an email to: [email protected]

I did this for a different problem and the issue was resolved quite quickly. Within a day or two.

That would work, if the number, account details or email address were known. What I had hoped was for their CS to note the number and send a physical letter to the known address - which I believe has not changed.

As I posted on another thread I have spent many hours trying to get throu to customer services on the phone, no luck at all. Funny enough before becoming a customer I did get throu to customer services, maybe if you phone from a 3rd party number you might get throu.
