I don't think this is a caller ID compatibility problem, it seems like the BT phone isn't hearing the DTMF for the hash button.

Do you have another analogue phone that you can connect at the same time as your BT4600 through a doubler or something? Call your landline from your mobile with the number withheld and wait for the BT4600 to answer, answer the prompt, and then pick up the second analogue phone, hit the # key and hang up.

Just to close down this thread, I gave up with the BT4600 and splashed out on the BT Premium Phone described here: https://www.bestproductsreviews.co.uk/nuisance-call-...

This phone works with Digital Voice in exactly the same way as did the BT4600 on copper(FTTC). No need to register anything with the Fritz!Box - just charge the handsets, plug in and go.

We are experiencing the same issue with our TrueCall BT telephone/answerphone used with the Zen supplied router (Fritz!Box 7530).

We have a BT TrueCall answerphone
BT Advanced Cordless Home Phone with 100 Percent Nuisance Call Blocking and Answering Machine, Twin Handset Pack https://amzn.eu/d/dVfeawz

This allows unknown callers to be announced, so we can decide whether to take the call or not.

There is an issue with the answerphone message continuing with a series of annoying beeps at the end of the message.

Please confirm that the phone you linked to does work as advertised and will screen calls, announce unknown callers and allow answerphone messages to be left when used with the Zen supplied 7530 router?

Kind regards,

Adam
