Free Hi-Res abstract images

Anyone know of any good places to find these sorts of things? Just interested in finding some flashy images to make logo / background bannery things... (Sorry I'll try and be a bit more vague shall I?)

You could try there.. photo library really, but sometimes there are the odd abstract image.

imagebank may have some although you may have to be careful with copyright allowances etc

Thanks I'll check them out... I think that's more what I meant by free, being free of copyright limitations etc, not just free as in beer Guess I should really get out my digi cam and take some instead, I just don't really have much of an eye for these things

imagebank does have "free" images but even some of these restrict the way in which they can be used

take a look on photosharing sites like flickr too - some photos on there have been set as free to use by the image owners under a creative commons license
