Which ISP for a fixed rate line ?

[link to this post]

At the moment I am with Idnet who I cannot fault for their C/S. My problem is that my line is very poor and on a good day I will get about 4.3 meg download and on a bad day will not even reach 1 meg. As a result I have decided to to go back to a fixed speed line. Is Idnet the best package for fixed speed lines or should I look elseware ?

If you are happy with IDnet then switch to one of their fixed line speeds. Contact Support and get the correct advice from them. Unfortunately ADSLMax can be quite variable if there is a long line length involved.

The problem is my line is very much up and down. At the moment my line has a fault on it but because it is within BTs specs it cannot be treated as a fault. I like Idnet but feel that
