Avoid Plusnet - they are unreliable and not helpfu

I have come here to warn other internet goers to avoid Plusnet like the plague. My service has been unreliable, depite buying 2 new routers and having my setup inspected several times costing me hundreds. Their online checker says all is good but it has not been the case.
Now they want

my brother had to bite the bullet and pay up just to get away from them even though it is a month to month contract . SMALL print who actually checks the Terms and conditions

I do not agree with you i have been with Plusnet for several years and have nothing but praise for them excellant service and great speed , no i totally disagree with you ,and the customer service is both helpfull and friendly ,join another ISP and find out what the service is like ,i did before Plusnet and talking to someone in a call centre in the far east will soon change your mind theres a differece between Sheffield and India .

I do not agree with you iv been with Plus net for Several years and i have only got praise for them i have found them extremely helpfull and great speed ,i was with an ISP who's call centre was in India try and get help from them ,No Plus net is a very good ISP and thats why BT bought them if they were no good do you think they would have .
Having Plus net as my ISP i feel secure and safe and can rely on there 24 hour service .

Where is BT's call centre?

From direct experience I found PlusNet's service drop severely over the last year or two; their ticket system was overloaded and the phones unanswerable

My experience with PlusNet is obviously not to be taken as the standard, but I think it does show that in general their attitude towards their customers might be charitably described as 'unhelpful.' We had DSL with them and the connection went out. We reported it to them, but they just didn't fix it. Ever. Three months later we simply cancelled the direct debit. Apparently this got their attention, because we received several letters demanding full payment of the contract. We explained the situation, but they said we had to pay up anyway.... so we ignored them. Fortunately, threatened collections action never materialised, so they were probably just trying their luck, but it was a distinctly unpleasant situation and a shoddy way to treat a previously loyal customer.

Customer service english is actually good i agree & the web hosting has been good but what i paid for - ie the broadband has been awful.
I have just called them and paid
