new flat no phone or isp

I have just moved into a new flat and there is currently no phone line active. Bulldog and virgin do not cover my are and i was just wondering if there are any alternatives to BT that will give me a phone line and BB pref on a fixed speed rather that maxdsl (not sure if this is possible as its been a while sine looking into adsl, i have telewest were i lived last)

Any suggestions?

It is still posible to get fixed speed lines, although you need to make sure that they are true fixed speed as lots are offering them but they are just MAX lines capped at 2mb.
