[link to this post]

I'm after a new broadband provider and hopefully one with inclusive minutes. I have been looking at orange and virgin but both seem to be experiencing problems. Maybe someone has had some good experiences with orange and virgin, it would be nice to know. Are there any providers that have inclusive minutes in their packages? I was looking at a price of about

I'm leaving Virgin soon but only because their "customer support" annoyed me. You can get up to 8Mbit ADSL plus free evening/week-end UK calls (01xxx & 02xxx) for

Forget about broadband services with these so called inclusive free telephone call deals, in my opinion they are all dreadfull... I will list some i know then i suggest you read the forums on here and see how many people are unhappy.
Talk talk (dreadful)
Tiscali (even more dreadful)
Pipex (Billing balls ups, terrible service, im in the process of leaving them)
Orange (used to be with them when they were freeserve and wannado, got out when i heard the cash cows orange were about to buy them, see their forum on here and you will see it was the right move)

Their are a few others, but as you will see from reading they are all rubbish, the only exception maybe Virgin Media and that IS ONLY IF YOU CAN GET THE CABLE SERVICE, forget about having them and their broadband over a normal phone line, that service is rubbish also.

My personal advice to you would be IF YOU can afford it, get broadband from UKOnline or Bethere, keep you phone with BT and upgrade to a phone option with BT that gives some free calls if you use the telephone alot.
It wont be the cheapest method, but you will have a reliable phone service and you will have fast decent broadband.
If you cant afford to do that and you are in a Virgin Media CABLE area then consider one of Virgins 2 for

I'm going to take the plunge. Phoned up pipex today and asked for my mac. Said it will be sent to me within 3 days so hopefully i can have everything up and running before i go back to uni (3 weeks time). I'm not leaving it to my parents as they know nothing about IT stuff.
