Not many people would give any cold caller access to their computer and am somewhat surprised you even intimated this fact.
Amazing that "Microsoft Support" ring me several times a month then. You would think that long ago their reason for doing this would have died from lack of funding.
I was not letting a wiring technician use my computer but a fully trained technician passed to me by VM who was based in India who stated he would update my Network Files as they were out of date.
May I suggest you could make a fortune as a stand-up comedian? What basis do you have for saying it was a "fully trained technician" as opposed to an level 2 script monkey? Your own analysis of the service given belies the more complimentary epithet.
