Called O2 yesterday afternoon request a MAC code. Spoke to a nice lady staff and after asked some questions, she said we will send it in 24 hours time so hopely it will arrive on my mail this afternoon. Yea Haaw. . .

Missus contact BT for info to leaving them but they said we have to book it 30 days before otherwise £20 charge for early day. Whoooat ???? It is to loooooong Well what can we do

We'll place an order to port the number over (as part of the phone move), if that fails for any reason or we're advised of any issues then we'll chase it - that's all I mean.

Thanks. Did get an Openreach engineer, who was organised and quick. The only issue was that the automated commissioning of the line by PN systems did not happen. It took me an hour to work out it wasn't my fault and call PN. No biggie I suppose but a bit irritating. The engineer told me the line was syncing at 80 Mbps. Here's the speed test results:
