Hi All,
moving home soon, and new house has virgin cable available which has the "up to" of 152Mbps (hope I got that right), so wondering what to do, I could order a change from BT lines as used at old address, to virgin instead, but has anyone moved from cables/networks provided by BT to all ISP's to virgin, if so, what do you thinks?
Just want to get it right from day one.

no replies from anyone, but that's OK, decided to stay with PlusNet, and getting new line, with better speeds at new house.

PlusNet will be slower as I'm sure you are aware but no doubt it'll be fine

Rang PlusNet and gave them house move details, and was put through to great guy, who arranged everything very smoothly, and because I decided to stay with PlusNet, don't pay anything for new installation, for new line or anything plus reduced billing as I signed up for a 24 month contract, which I'm happy to do, as the PlusNet email confirms I'll be on an FTTP connection, great news!

Oh I had assumed PlusNet was standard ADSL. FTTP is incredible and I would recommend it personally over Virgin Media. Good choice

Does the Address option, (not the Postcode one) of this checker say FTTP for the address?

using that link, it just says FTTC,:
FTTC Range A (Clean) 80 66.8 20 20 -- Available
FTTC Range B (Impacted) 80 54 20 18.2 -- Available
but just confirmed with PlusNet's house moving team I am getting FTTP
