Talktalk or Air Broadband?

[link to this post]

Cityfibre FTTP has just become available where my son lives but at present the only two ISPS they make available are Talktalk and Air Broadband. Does anyone have experiance of Air Broadband and how it compares to Talktalk especially for customer support?
Supplementary question, does anyone know how long Cityfibre are likely to limit choice of ISP to just these two?
Any help in making the choice would be much appreciated.

A bit of a delayed reply - but have you decided yet? In my experience here in Reading we started with only 4 options and after a couple of months new ISPs were gradually added - 8 months after CityFibre went live here we're now up to 13. If CityFibre is completely new in your area this might take longer, though. If you have the choice of Giganet I can thoroughly recommend them - not the cheapest but excellent service and first 3 months free.
[Edit - just checked and we're down to 12 options. I think Air Broadband is the one that disappeared. Not quite sure why...]

AIr Broadband were acquired by Zybre in November so I guess something to do with that. See https://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.php/2022/11/multi-...

Thanks for the replies.
The question was on behalf of my son who lives near Norwich. As Cityfibre have been in Norwich for about 8 months and still do not give any more choice ISP wise he decided to go with one of the two options currently available and not wait any longer Especially as it is a new rollout area where he is.
I think the take over of Air Broadband and the disappearance of their website rather put him off.
Talk Talk are down to install the fibre next week.
