Windows Media Center

[link to this post]

Hi folks,

does anyone know whether it's possible to bring up the scroll/tracker/timeline bar in Windows Media Center 6 (running on Vista Home Premium x64, SP1)? At the moment, I can only see this bar when I pause the movie and even then I can't click on the bar to jump through the film - I find this easier to use when looking to specific bits, rather than having to FFW or jump whole chapters. Most DVD Playing software I've used before (e.g. PowerDVD, WinDVD etc.) has had this option even Windows Media Player has it, so I'm guessing it must be an option somewhere in Media Center. In the meantime I've been using VLC or WMP for DVDs, but I find both of these 'flaky' on my x64 installation and I like the features of WMC, so Id rather use this.

Cheers,
Marc.

I think if you press the play button while waching live or recorded TV it will display the bar.
