Sarcasm isn't your strong point? I was providing information to people who may be interested in knowing that it was released and it seems there are quite a few people who were. Unless I've misunderstood your message, move along to the next topic, but without leaving comments like that.

Even if you aren't using it, it's probably a worthwhile addition to any Windows computer as a general addition to your armoury of Windows updates.

Calm down, live a little. LOL

It is not the most exciting news is it, we all knew the MS was about to launch it. It is still only the RC version.

Why? I still got a computer that don't even have Windows 7 on it. the only reason this machine got 7 is because I am using Vista, but I have not used IE for years. I hate the thing.

No, it isn't - it's the full release.

If you are going to make silly comments, at least try to get your facts right. I think we already know by now that you are a full member of the "I hate Microsoft" club.

Hate Microsoft, me? You got me wrong, you certainly have.

I don't hate Microsoft, I detest Microsoft. LOL

No I don't I admit I am not a lover of MS, but I don't hate them, I just think they are getting too big for everyone's good, but then I got the same problem with Intel, Sky, BT, Coke-cola and a few other companies.

If your friend downloaded IE8 before 4PM on Thursday 19th March, then it would not be the full version.
