Re: WHAT EMAIL CLIENT DO YOU USE?

I use Outlook 2007. Pretty good - did use TBd, but got Outlook with Office Pro 2007 and TBH it is better than Outlook 2003 I use at work . The only downside is the datafile bug.

I use Pegasus for everyday work.
I would quite likely be using Thunderbird now, but for all the old emails and addresses I have - cannot readily export/import these- and almost certainly I would have been using it if it had been around when I started with Pegasus.

I really don't see that you can complain about non-support of a future which seems to be pure Msoft, and they disable by default anyway - especially as there are other ways of getting the info across.

You know you can get lightning for thunderbird don't you?
Yes but I am a bit leery of change for change sake from something which works perfectly well for me especially as the latest Nokia PC sync software has improved out of all recognition from the flaky [censored] it was before.

It's not lack of a feature, its a bug. smile

I use Outlook 2007 on all the laptops and desktops in the house as I have Office 2007 on all of them.

Thunderbird is good, but it just lacks he functionality of Outlook in my opinion. If Thunderbird were to have the same functionality as Outlook then I would use Thunderbird for the most part.

I use Thunderbird with the Lightning plugin which gives me virtually all the Outlook functionality. It can exchange appointments with Outlook and I use Thunderbird's portable edition with Sunbird to give me all that on my U3 memory stick.
