Load Balancing moved, and moved again?

[link to this post]

Hello,

So I take it this:

http://status.zensupport.co.uk/index.php?serviceid=5&incidentid=436

which was rescheduled to today, also got done at around 10am and not 9am given I've just seen about 30 circuits disappear at once...?

Mine went down whilst I was trying to work. Not happy. I got a BT IP for 15 minutes. That's usually indicative of large scale load-balancing, not platform balancing tweaks.

Zen, you are a supposedly a business-oriented ISP. Folks are starting work at 8am. You should not be starting a maintenance slot at 7am. You should get out of bed at 3am and start the slot at 4am to cause your customers the minimum of fuss.

I've just had a period where it was like no connectivity was there, even though I was connected to zen. Disconnecting and reconnecting again seems to have restored things to normal, though it took a good minute to reconnect to zen.

10 seconds after I'd posted I got disconnected for a second time. They're going to have to buck their ideas up. It seems they time their maintenance slots to suit them, not their customers. If this is the best service a UK ISP can manage, then I really should set up my own.
