Zen DD

Looking for some info on the DD payment option.

In most instances when setting up a DD I'm offered a day in the month when I want the DD to come out, on the basis that the payment will be taken on that day or the first banking day thereafter. This is useful because it means I can make sure all my DDs are setup for the 1st, thus ensuring that my pay has reached my account in time!

When setting up a DD with Zen, does anyone know if there is the option of specifying the date?

I think that there is! But don't hold me to it

When I changed mine over I'm sure that they gave me the option, I just said keep it the same as my CC billing date.

No, I sorted it out over the phone at the same time I upgraded to my current connection.

Hi Mike, got my DD form in front of me now, received it a few days back on request. It doesn't have a date on it but the covering letter states it will take 3 days to set up then all future payments due will be taken from that date onwards. When I was on the phone to accounts dept I asked them to keep as close as possible to the dates I already have with credit card, [debited automatically each month] and I was told it would not be a problem. I expect it will either go through a couple of days early with a partial refund to credit card or a few days late with a full refund of that month to credit card.
