Zen cancellation fee?

[link to this post]

Hello,

I need a service provider as a stop gap, zen looks pretty good i am interested in the Zen 8000 Lite service which i will require fro approx 2 months..

all other "30 day" providers have a huge fee for cancellation (equivalent to a 12 moth contract in some cases). Although the ZEN T&C's don't state a fee for canceling. Does anyone know if they do actually have a cancellation / exit fee?

There is absolutely, totally and utterly no cancellation fee, just the notice period.

I have had personal experience with Zen, and I can say I was never charged to leave (and that was only because I work for other ISP that I moved).

However, it's not true to say all other monthly based ISP charge fees to cancel. I could name quite a few of the smaller more personal touch ISPs that we only be too happy to make a migration painless.

Indeed - as others say there are no fees for leaving Zen, just the 30 days notice. Also as said there are other small ISP's (A number of Enta resellers for example) who will not charge your for an outbound migration.

Since your looking for such a short term I'd say don't bother with any direct debit rubbish, pay online for the life of the contract that way its not such a pain stoping payments, and getting credit notes.
