Well i have just had a phone call from Mr Patterson office and told the end of the year and apologising for the vast delay of which still remains unclear

So there you have it concisely. On a plus note a quick response from his office, so at least that is something

it will be interesting what mr Patterson has to say about the channel 4 programme The Complainers in which by watching the incompetent staff of BT in trying to address a customers concern about being without broadband infinity for months but still being charged

no wonder BT are the bottom in customer care in the UK truly shocking

rich Tea -- 66% covered by 2.5bn of BT money not public -- if your in a new build sugges you speak to your devloper (assuming he had no discussion with operator about fibre) or local auihotirty to see if you are covered under BDUK

I was referring to the privatisation of BT that created the monopoly. Did'n the public also fund BT to role out FTTC / ADSL to more locations.

My estate is around 18 years old, though I do know the developer at the time refused to pay VM to install Fibre. It was a little before BT's FTTC project.
