The other thing is are they still migrating customers even though they haven't sorted this issue, lets hope not.

- it would sound a rather poor choice to migrate anyone else until this issue is a) identified and b) resolved.

I do know that on the evening of the 5th (after zen replied to this topic) both mine and my neighbours connections (who are GEA migrated) dropped for a period of time. So weather they were doing tests/checks or configuration changes I don't know?
Obviously doesn't help you if you do still have problems, but maybe they are doing things still behind the scenes. And I agree it would have been courteous to at least notify you.

Not sure if yours was different but it looks like a migration takes about 2 weeks to happen. I don't think that's going to get things working any faster.
Update: Openreach guy attended (same guy as last time). He replaced the ONT this time. Ran more tests. Unsurprisingly this didn't seem to make a difference.

After I complained about losing IPv6 and doubled latency it took about an hour to be switched back to London instead of Manchester.

migration takes about 2 weeks to happen. I don't think that's going to get things working any faster. I don't believe it would take anything like that to migrate a customer back, I would put about an hour on it if you want my opinion.

2 weeks is how long it takes BT to migrate between the two networks. The actual work involved may be very little, but the lead times are 10 working days.
