Did you 'pay' by dd or card ?

If PN took the first payment by CC the delay should be the minimum 5 days. I'm suprised they don't.

I paid by CC. Perhaps there's something else wrong! I don't know. I'm just hoping there's no delay. Desperate to get away from Pipex.

have you signed up to the plusnet forums yet? i was advised to do so and all i can say is WOW. they are fantastic with members, moderators and actual Plusnet staff patroling the boards.

They do generally take your first payment by credit/debit card but you can opt to pay it by direct debit. IIRC there is a warning somewhere on the sign up pages that tells you there will be a delay if you opt to make your first payment by direct debit.

Subsequent payments can be made either by direct debit or card.
