Yeah, I put that there to show things weren't perfect all the time, but to be fair, congestion is very rare and it might even be from my local exchange (doubt it though as I'm in a small village).

1. A bad day
2. A particular reason for having a go at a specific ISP
or
3. You are just someone whos glass is always half empty

Or perhaps it's all of the above.

You are of course entitled to voice your opinion (which is particularly welcome when it's constructive) but I fail to see the point of any of these related posts unless you are trawling the boards looking for an argument - along the lines of, "Oh look, nobody's having a go at that ISP - I'll soon fix that!"

Idk. There's someone with a strimmer nearby and even though it's not causing an SNR increase I'm going to wait till the finished before reporting it. My lcp echo times have been steadily increasing too.

Looks like there was quite a lot of packet loss on the RAS you are connected to, possibly related to the issue in London or maybe a knew problem..

Anyway that loss looks to have cleared up.

We are checking with BT to confirm it is related.

Seems to have cleared up now yes. Weird though.
