BT Broadband / Hub keeps cutting off

[link to this post]

I moved to BT Option 3 about a month ago. Everything is fine but it keeps cutting off about 10 - 20 times a day - mostly in the evening. I am using the BT hub, I never had this problem using my Netgear DG834g. When surfing I get the error below when from the BT hub when it cuts off. The data LED on the hub also goes off when I get this message. It goes down for approx 20 secs each time. Any ideas?

Error message:

SNR is a bit high, use the DMT tool which I have told people how to use many times on this board to lower it.

Instructions to dmt Tool:
http://dmt.mhilfe.de/down/st7/dmt.zip download this and then at the side near the top there will be 5 tabs go to the 4th(modem options). On that their is a big slider. At the bottom untick default SNRM and put the slider down to the second notch from the bottom. Then next to that their is a button called apply/re-sync click that.

Now next to the slider tab etc their is pictures at the top it says about downstream and upstream and the bit rate. just adjust the SNRM up and down until you get close to 10dB I set it as close to 10.5dB and I don't re-sync all the time either.

Well their are a few pictures above the graphs. next to the pictures is the SNR margin for the downstream. Just adjust the slider until it is at 10dB there. I can post a screenie if you wish?

Nope thats pefrect, just what I have mine at. Difference is that my slider is two from the bottom to get it to 10.5dB SNR! But yours is perfect for your codition.
