8 MB/s according to chrome/utorrent downloading a file from the likes of filehippo/microsoft/nvidia

Might have got the letter casing wrong, so sue me! tongue

8MB/s is 64Mbps. Looks fine.

An update to my particular problems....had a visit from an engineer today & he did a good job at identifying an insulation problem on my line so he fixed that and my speed went up to 75 Mbps from 65.....But tonight after 7pm we had the same problem...getting a little frustrated now

You need to get RouterStats in an appropriate version - Lite or Hub running on your PC. Set it for 10 second intervals and start it off an hour before you think is the problem start time. Record Sync and SNR figures on a graph, host the image and then provide a link.

I shall leave it to BT to sort out thanks..they are now aware of problems in Chepstow and are monitoring several lines...well that's what i was told!
