Actually, there is an alternative in the form of setting this up on the device itself rather than the router. Mobicip.com makes a Safe Browser app that you can install on the iPod touch. Select Settings > General > Restrictions and turn off Safari, YouTube, Installing Apps & Deleting Apps. This will ensure that the Safe Browser is the only available browser on the device. The downside is that your kid is forced to use this browser to access any web content like YouTube, Facebook, Google etc. But withing the constraints, the app itself works beautifully.
