I cancelled the line with Virgin Media yes as I don't need it anymore .It runs out in Jan as I'm in the 30 days.

The NEOS one is still going. BT offered me the discount but now of course it's all going through the EE brand. I have an e-mail saying it I signed with them it will be free for 24 months,

Sure I can upload the original invoice if it pleases. I can also upload any month for the last 39 showing £370 for 1 line and £318 for the other (post VAT) I have 2 leased lines right now and I have no problem with proving either.

You let me know.

No need. I was looking at the BQM forum section earlier. Given you posted this BQM forum team can verify if it's in the right location by a traceroute to the IP and can verify it doesn't belong to a large enterprise, corporate, is an educational institution or local authority. Given it's yours that'll be fine, right?

Kinda weird in the same thread you complain about a lack of alternatives given you've had a Neos line for over three years but still.

Failing that the forum software will hold the source IPs of our posts. Some of those presumably will be either Neos or VMB addresses that do not resolve to large businesses.

There are plenty of folks with a number of leased lines under their management and indeed Openreach staff that can speak to the veracity of Openreach having either the ability or the desire to contact BT Enterprise to in turn contact EE to offer free residential service to a site where ECCs were paid to facilitate a DIA.

And yet they charged me for it - I never asked ifor it and t was part of the ECC's - Every other line has managed since the 80's going another route. This pole has been up since 2021..

But fair enough

Missed this.

So the implication is that they defrauded you by overcharging you for unnecessary infrastructure, used that unnecessary infrastructure for FTTP later on and were so grateful to your business for paying VM/Neos for that unnecessary infrastructure that they broke the law, their regulatory obligations and did some stalking to try and arrange free FTTP for you personally as a residential user.

Okay stop taking the [censored]. i wish I never asked now.

Indeed.

Yes I will be. I will actually be happy for them to do that - As i said I can't rip a leased line off the wall to come show you - but you know where I live so any time you fancy a cuppa and a tour of the cabinet I have you just let me know.

I tried to upload pics before - but they were removed.

The NEOS line is still on the wall. I am arranging for OR to come and remove it as I don't need it anymore - the VM kit is just sat on a worktop. I didn't want the large bulky cabinet in the end. When that goes in 6 months they can just remove it and pull the fibre out the building no problem.
