Ive lost 2-3 mbps off my normally sky-high download speed. BT are reporting unnamed problems in The North of England:

Is anybody else slowing down?

No, but I'm in the south
BT seem to have been having a spate of faults lately.

Yes, I am. BT speedtest showed 12186Kbps instead of the normal ~35000 or more, and BQM is showing around 10% packet loss.
And I'm in the south!

I'm down to 50% of my normal speed now. The BT site reports issues in other areas-not just "The North" but doesn't providem much detail.

BT now claim to have sorted the unnamed issue but I'm still on 50% of my norm and pings are petty high, too.

Still like cold treacle here too.
Speed at about 30%, pings are OK but packet loss still high.

Has anyone reported this to IDNet?
I'll alert them to this thread anyway, we also have one running on Netters, so the problem seems widespread.
