Which Router?

[link to this post]

I have an old B310 router from a few years ago that was part of a Three deal at the time. I've had to go and stay in an area without fixed line broadband (well, it can get it but only 4mb). I've got an EE SIM card and get decent speeds (20mb on average sometimes up to 45mb).

I am going to buy an outdoor external antenna (Poynting 4G-XPOL-A0001) but I am also looking at different routers. The Huawei is much better than a TP-Link Archer M200 I tried so I was thinking of the Huawei B535. Is that a good choice? Any other suggestions?

Edit: Put the correct router in this time

Thanks,

Steve

I've not got much experience with different routers. I have the B525 which seems to work pretty well and is similar to the B535. It's internal 3g/4g antennas are pretty good comapred to a mobile phone. With a directional Poynting MIMO antenna, it's working great for me.

I find the extra router features to be pretty bare though. Just the basic DHCP, port forwarding and such. No static routes or bells and whistles. WiFi range is average IMO. Reaching 80mbps/30mbps on Smarty/3 when it's quiet.
