Hi all,
I have been using my PS3 wirelessly and get an average signal strength of around 35% from my Netgear DG834GT router.
The last few days (due to bad weather I think) my signal strength has dropped significantly and thus I keep getting disconnected from the PlayStation Network.
The problem is my router is upstairs and wired to my PC and my PS3 is downstairs hence the wireless connectivity.
I was just thinking as I have a phone line downstairs and upstairs, if i got 2 faceplates that have ethernet and bt connection combined on them, as I am only using 2 wires for my phone and broadband connection, could I use the spare wires to make a network?
I know i could use a big ethernet cable, but my wife wont let me drill any more holes, and I don't really want to spend money on them electric socket network things either.
Your help would be much appriciated.
