If you have Windows XP SP2 or SP3; or have Windows Vista, you could "work through" Windows Connect Now as if you are establishing a new home network. Here, Windows generates a new random WEP or, preferably as MrSaffron said, WPA key when you set up a new WiFi network. I have explained how to go about it in my blog post (

Th reason I posted this article then was that a lot of people would be likely to receive wireless routers, Centrino-equipped laptops or other wieless-network kit for Christmas.
